The Glow Bracket

Eight houses. One vote a day.

The Golden Bulb

How the judges will score a house.

  1. CreativityIs there an idea here that you have not seen on another street?
  2. PrecisionAre the lines straight, the colors matched and the timing clean?
  3. Holiday spiritDoes it make you glad it is Christmas, and does it welcome the street?

Each part is scored from 1 to 10, so the most a house can earn is 30. The house with the highest total in its category wins that category.

Kids' jury. A separate group of children judges one category, Kids' Choice, with one question: Would you ask to stop the car?

Score a house for practice. Official entries are not open yet. The planned prize is a yard sign and the Lane Ornament for that year.
